Ruth Will - Managing Director

As Managing Director of MICT Ruth’s role in company is much more hands on than many MDs due to the size and nature of the business. Her degree in Primary Education certainly helps her manage the staff, there isn’t much difference really! Ruth is also an enthusiastic showjumper spending a lot of her time at the stables. At the weekend she will usually be found at a competition of some description somewhere in Ireland.

John Horan - Head of Compliance

John is an expert in compliance solutions specialising in Anti-Money Laundering, Bribery and Corruption and Financial Crime. Delivering advice and training to regulated sector firms nationally and internationally.  John has written regular articles on financial crime and related issues for the Compliance Resource Network. During his time in the Royal Ulster Constabulary and Police Service of Northern Ireland John acted as lead investigator in a major multi-national money laundering operation. Outside of work John is an avid reader with a particular interest in history having successfully graduated with a BA (HONS) in History in 2007. He also enjoys spending time in his greenhouse and causing chaos with his grandchildren  

 

Fred Handley - Head of Investigations and Compliance

Fred is a highly experienced retired law enforcement officer who served in the Royal Ulster Constabulary GC and the Police Service of Northern Ireland for almost 30 years. His specialist skills include criminal, financial and terrorist investigations, Intelligence Management, National Intelligence Model, Anti Money Laundering and Fraud investigation. As part of Maze Investigations, Compliance and Training Ltd he has delivered training and headed investigations in the UK and Europe involving Anti Money Laundering, fraud and corruption. Fred’s interests include rugby, cooking and travel.
